Located on Haley Street, Lito’s is perfectly situated for anyone who gets overserved at Third Window Brewing—right around the corner—and needs a meat missile to soak up the booze.
It took approximately eight seconds for these guys to prepare my burrito, which is either very impressive or very suspicious.
Anyway, I was already a bit disappointed when I saw the shape of this thing. It was pretty lumpy with a big divot in the middle, and you could tell that the tortilla wasn’t remotely fresh.
The meat (carne asada) was well seasoned but a bit dry. I would’ve given it lower marks, but there was a lot of it, and I think quantity matters just as much as quality when it comes to burritos.
The overall flavors were meh but not terrible. I don’t regret eating this burrito but I’m not gonna rush back (except for brewery-related emergencies like the one mentioned above).
Want to hear me talk about something besides burritos?
